Analysis of environmental data obtained from meteorological road stations in Latvia for 20 years

Abstract The events of recent years indicate climate change in nature. Climate could affect the lifetime transport infrastructure. Changes temperature, humidity, and use de‐icing material may stimulate development damages road bridge structures. According to Latvian Environment, Geology, Meteorology Centre data, average air temperature values have increased by 0.7 °C (1981‐2010 compared 1961‐1990 g). Road maintenance organizations need information on actual weather conditions each road: above pavement, surface, below surface. Sixtyfive meteorological stations roads throughout Latvia's territory provide this information. This paper analyzes data from six metrological obtained 2001 2021. results show that over 20 period, determined nearby asphalt pavement has 1.4 C. is because heats more, measured its vicinity higher should be considered when modeling damage
